Will Anonywasher crash my computer? What does it do to my system?
Anonywasher *should* be fine in the vast
majority of cases although it hasn't been tested
on all system configurations. It does delete files
from your hard drive, and it does modify your registry
in order to clean private information out of it.
Anonywasher shows every file that is being deleted
as it occurs, and if you are not sure of what it
is doing, then you can stop it at any time. If you
are really unsure, be sure not to add bleach to
the deletion process. If you need to recover a file,
using a file restore program before proceeding.
Also, if you're really paranoid, you might want
to make a copy of the Windows registry.
As mentioned above, we have never had any problems
of the above sort with any of our beta-testers who
have tested this on a variety of Windows operating
systems. Also, we have not yet received any feedback
from Internet users reporting any problems.
